New Dates for UCPath Quarterly Connect We are excited to announce the schedule for the next UCPath Quarterly Connect series! Save the dates and register below:

Your feedback matters! Over the past year, transactors highlighted that the original Thursday timeslot conflicted with many fund managers' core responsibilities. After reviewing the input, we have moved the sessions to Wednesdays at 11:00 am to provide more flexibility for our audiences.

We look forward to seeing you at our next UCPath Quarterly Connect! As a reminder, all sessions are recorded and posted on our UCPath Media Library page.

Updates Coming to UCPath CORE Trainings UC San Diego will start leveraging UCPath-Center's web-based training. The Salary Cost Transfer (SCT/DR) and Position Management module will be replaced by April 2026. All other modules will be updated as they become available. Advanced notices will be sent before each course is updated. Access provisioning will remain unchanged, with the exception of PayPath and Smart HR Templates will be provisioned together with the upcoming HR Tasks course in the future.
Why is this change happening?
  • Consolidating UPKs into a single, searchable knowledge base reduces duplication and eases future updates.
  • Remediating the content for accessibility meets the university’s long‑term compliance roadmap.
  • Delivering training through a web‑based platform enables rapid updates and consistent access for all staff.

Have questions about this change? Come to the UCPath Transactions Office Hours tomorrow, Thursday, April 2 at 9:00 a.m. for more information!

Upcoming Change to Fidelity 403(b) Loan Repayments Beginning in April 2026, the process for repaying Fidelity 403(b) loans will change. UC will no longer deduct loan repayments from employee paychecks after the April 1, 2026, monthly and April 8, 2026, biweekly paychecks. Employees must make repayments directly to Fidelity through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) service, which withdraws payments from an employee’s personal bank account. Employees who currently have an outstanding 403(b) loan will need to take action between April 13 and May 20, 2026, to establish ACH repayments through Fidelity to ensure payments continue without interruption. Impacted employees received communications directly from Fidelity. For questions about this transition or how to set up ACH loan repayments, please contact a Fidelity representative at 1-866-682-7787.

New Emergency Contact Option for Employees UCPath Center has introduced a new emergency contact relationship type, “Contact if Detained/Arrested.” Employees can update their emergency contact information in UCPath to add a contact to be notified if they are detained or arrested at work.
  • Why does this matter? This update ensures employees can record their notification preferences. It is part of the California Workplace – Know Your Rights notification issued earlier this year.

  • What do I need to know? The new option is available in Employee Self Service under Emergency Contacts. No action is required from locations, but you may receive questions from employees. UCPath encourages locations to remind employees to review and update their emergency contact information.
