During paid leave, benefit premiums continue to be deducted from paychecks, requiring no extra management.
In contrast, for unpaid leave, employees are automatically enrolled in Direct Billing for any ongoing benefits. They will receive a bill and must pay it directly to keep their benefits active. For more details, visit these resources:
