The UCPath CORE Training is a series of interactive courses designed to prepare transactors for their work in UCPath. Each course will cover an individual module and will familiarize learners with concepts, individual transactions, and roles and responsibilities.

UCPath CORE Training Modules

Please note that completion of the UCPath CORE Overview module is required prior to registering for the subsequent UCPath CORE Training modules.

Note

New transactors must request UCPath access within 6 months of completing UCPath training, otherwise, you will need to retake the UCPath CORE: Overview Training Module as a refresher.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's changing?

The newly redesigned training will replace the UCPath Bootcamp and UCPath Funding Fundamentals training courses.

Previously: UCPath Bootcamp Current: UCPath CORE Training
  • Information overload, too many topics covered at once
  • Long, tedious, and time-consuming
  • Difficult to update with the latest guidance
  • High-level summary of important concepts separated by individual modules
  • Shorter, easier to update
  • Points to relevant complementary resources

Will I need to take the new UCPath CORE Training if I have already completed the UCPath Bootcamp and/or the UCPath Funding Fundamentals Training?

If you have completed the old UCPath Training courses from August 2023 through February 2024, you do not need to take the new UCPath CORE Training. 

If you have completed the old UCPath Training courses before August 2023, you must take the new UCPath CORE Training.

Please note that the UCPath CORE Overview module is a prerequisite course and must be completed prior to registration for subsequent UCPath CORE modules.

Will my access to UCPath change when the new training is launched?

The pages and functionality that you currently have access to will not change due to the launch of the new UCPath CORE Training. The UCPath Access Management Form has been updated with the corresponding UCPath CORE Training modules.
